Good PPV for the UFC.
Couture pulled the upset and completely changed the heavyweigh rankings.
Amazing performance man handling Gonzaga, he’s reached a new level at 44.
GSP was super impressive, steamrolling Koscheck, which I never expected.
Babalu was fired for being an idiot and admitting he held onto the choke for a second or two for respect – he should never have admitted this and if he’s that stupid he deserves to be fired.
Kurt Pellegrino looked very impressive, even in defeat, with lots of great submission attempts and reversals. Patrick Cote actually had a good fight after several lacklustre bouts, severely damaging Kendall Grove’s career.

Got of to a good start with Nog vs Herring, although as i’ve seen this twice already, I would have preferred something new.
Sherk is so boring – hope they bring in someone who can retire him as all he does is change position and lay on his opponent. Was disappointed in Hermes, but it wasn’t his fault the fight was so bad.
Tito vs Rashad was okay, as Tito’s mouth helps make his bouts interesting. Rashad had a little flurry in the last round but Tito should have won this.
Anderson Silva is the UFC’s mvp, beating all comers in exciting fights – he’s the new Wanderlei.

Good fights from an initially uninspiring card.
Watching Karo dismantle Burkman was good.
Rampage finally delivered after a long string of poor performances, but Shogun or Wandy will pwn him. Again.
As a Rampage fan it was good to see him win, but it was a shame he got booed by the people who don’t get his persona.
Houston’s KO of Jardine was amazing stuff.

Solid show with great main event of “uncle” Randy Couture destroying the giant.
Silvia has put fans through some terrible boring fights lately, so was very good to see him lose his belt and get beaten by 43 year old Randy. Matt and Rich had solid comebacks from loses, with Matt Hughes looking like the old Matt Hughes (though that may not be such a good thing, as he may have regressed to his old g’n’p only self). Franklin beat Jason MacDonald surprisingly easily – I was hoping he was a new superstar in waiting, but he’s no where near ready as a striker, although it makes Chris Leben look worse, which is good.
Great show – shocking upsets, great KOs and subs and no boring fights.
Gomi and Wand losing was very damaging for Pride, but seeing as they are on life support until they get a TV deal and no one in Japan saw the show, it’s not too big of a deal.

Pretty good PPV – Anderson Silva Vs Travis Lutter was a great fight with Silva showing he’s the real deal standing and on the ground, getting Lutter in a triangle choke and submitting him with hard elbows to the head.
Cro Cop and Rampage had okay debuts No highlight reel KO for Mirko, but I’m sure once he gets used to fighting in the US and the cage he will show his skills. Rampage also started slow due to nerves, but managed to deliver some ” black on black crime” .
