Death Proof

Stylised on cheap 70s thrillers, this failed to deliver.
The build up before anything happened lasted almost an hour and
Tarantino still cannot write realistic dialogue. It was a relief when the tedious
wooden characters were wiped out, but then the whole thing was repeated.
This was extremely self indulgent with the director seemingly happy to
script a movie where he gets to hang out with pretty girls and they
say his words. Also, poor Kurt Russell – he puts in a good performance,
but the film is so bad it wasn’t worth it.
