This came highly recommended but was a complete letdown.
Film noir set in a school with the creepy one from 3rd Rock from the Sun
as the hero, if you ignored the
lack of realism in the envirnment it went along okay, but got
overcomplicated, lacked focus, went on too long and wound up to a whole
bunch of nothing in the end.

Transformers

Best movie i’ve seen this year, with giant robots, explosion and enough
of a story to hold it all together.
Negatives : the robots still looked too ugly for my taste, being too
breakable and should have had proper faces, the decepticons lacked
screentime and the ending was a bit of a mess
with the robots looking too similar and moving too fast. The music was a
bit rubbish too, with no ‘The Touch’ or ‘Dare’ greatness.
Positives : giant robot FTW, plenty of action, humans not too annoying,
military stuff kept to a minimum.
